Last evening, I was at a book release function by "Trisakthi Pathipagam", which also released one of friends work called "Yaro Oruthiyin Dairy Kuripu" by "Nila Raseegan". This is a short story which is based on the Child Abuse. The ceremony was presided by several celebrities in the world of Tamil writters and it was a huge success...
Mr. Ravi IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Chennai, lauded much about the book of Nilaraseegan and said, he even felt like investigating on the child abuse mentioned in the story. He also did appreciate the usage of rich tamil language by the author and all these comments of Mr. Ravi IPS, resulted immediately the sale of 18 books even before the release.
This book was later released by the famous writter Mrs. Indhumathi and it sold 129 copies within couple of hours of it's release which is the highest sale for the evening compared to that of the rest of 26 books by other authors.
To say more about Nilaraseegan, he is one of the famous writters in the tamil networld and he has now slowly stepped into the world of publications.
